I'm Valentine Laurent — fashion editor and creative director based in Paris. A decade of editorial work for Vogue Paris, Numéro, and AnOther, plus campaign direction for fashion houses that prefer not to be named in bios.
Eight frames from the AW26 season — editorial, campaign, and private commission work. Hover any frame for the credit.
A 14-page editorial shot across three mornings in a Paris apartment, using only north-facing window light. The brief was to capture the moment before the day starts — that liminal hour when nothing has happened yet and everything is still possible.

A 9-page editorial for AnOther Magazine's FW 2025 issue. The brief asked what a fashion story looks like when the model doesn't move — every frame held for the count of ten, the styling built around restraint rather than gesture.
Photographed by Sara Halvorsen. Styled by Valentine Laurent. Hair and makeup by the Studio Paris team. Featured on the AnOther online front page for three weeks in October 2025.
Three campaigns from the last 18 months — directed end-to-end from concept to final delivery.
Full SS26 campaign — print, film, and lookbook. Shot in Milan and Lake Como. 32 print variants, a 90-second launch film, and a 96-page lookbook.
AW25 campaign for a Stockholm-based fashion house. Shot in Lapland in February. 14 print variants, a 60-second social film, and a 48-page lookbook.
I'm Valentine Laurent, a fashion editor and creative director based in Paris. I started at Vogue Paris as a fashion assistant in 2015 and went independent in 2020.
Today I edit for Vogue Paris, Numéro, AnOther, Self Service, and i-D, and direct campaigns for fashion houses across Europe. My work has been featured in the Communication Arts photography annual and recognised by the Fashion Awards London.
I shoot mostly in Paris, Milan, and Stockholm. I read every brief twice. I prefer one light source. The slow edit is the point.
I take on roughly 12 commissions a year — editorial, campaign, and private styling. Tell me what you're shooting, who it's for, and what success looks like. I respond within three business days.
